It’s Still Early but the Red Sox Are On Track For the First Undefeated Season in MLB History

So after an absolutely dominant performance from Chris Sale and a walk-off homer by the (least) prettiest swing in baseball Sandy Leon, The Sox continue their undefeated streak that goes back to opening day. Now of course, it’s not even half way through the season yet, but the Sox are looking pretty hot so far. The bats haven’t looked too bad, but the power lost (and not replaced) from Papi’s retirement is clearly taking it’s toll on run scoring. Besides that, the bullpen has been phenomenal and both Sale and Porcello have picked up where they left off last season. We’ll just have to see how long this streak can go for, but I’m feeling pretty optimistic so far this season.
